body wiring harness question

anyone know where the common points are for wire breakage in these harnesses. i ve been running down some of them but that damn thing is huge. i have no problem running down an engine harness but this thing could take awhile.:wallbash:

You may be better off testing the paths of the wires for the parts you're having trouble with. With a wiring diagram and the multimeter you should be able to tackle any issue.

yeah its just finding the breaks that is a pain in the rear. anything to try and save a little time. i mess with electrical systems all day, the last thing i look forward to is messin with my own...lol.

I can agree that finding the issue is a pain. I've done it far more than I would have hoped for. From my reading it seems as if breaks are not all too common. Most frequently it seems people have issues with front wheel rub and the harness that loops over the wheel well. Beyond that most issues can be traced back to poorly installed electronics or forgetting to hook back up a groud. With previous knowledge of electronics I don't assume you would have any trouble figuring where the problem is occurring.
