It looks like a good unit but I am wondering what all the benefits of something like this would be. I installed some braces for my friend who has a s2000 and it really stiffned up his ride a lot! Anyone have any ideas?

I was thinking about fabricating stiffeners like this, myself. I wonder if it's worth the trouble.

The 3rd gen already has a fairly stiff chassis, and one of its main design goals was light weight. Adding braces adds weight which can hurt handling and acceleration. If you offset the braces with equal or greater weight reduction elsewhere in the car it might be worthwhile, but most people aren't willing to do that.
