BNR Stage 3. how to go parallel with that?

Greetings,

I am sending my turbo to BNR for a stage 3. I want to go with the parallel option. However I have no clue how to do the convesrion. Anyone can help. A step by step quide would be very appreciated.

Thanks

im guessing that he wants to know what to tear out under the manifold. i dont think he will need all the rats nest. does he just start ripping?

Kris,

That's exact I want to know what to remove and how to get this thing working in parallel. Some how to procedure would be very helpfull.

Thanks.

glad i can carify that for you. ill throw this in so it will end up at the top so someone that knows how this is done can respond. i havent a clue what would need to be taken out. shouldnt be any different than a single where there is basically nothing under the manifold. who can help, MAX?, jimlab?, ernieT?. if you dont get anything here, post in the single forum. might be some help there

If you use the search button you might be able to find the how to for the FULL parallel conversion - the poorman's guide is on the bearikki.com website which I've heard many have had success with this explanation. Many people do the "quicky" conversion to see if they like it -it's not for everyone. Althought the stage 3s spool incredibly fast, it will still be different than the sequential system. For reliability though, parallel is the way to go.

Can I still leave the rats nest intact if I do the full non seq mod? I don't want to have to remove it if it is not necessary. Thanks

yes, you can leave the rats nest there but you can also remove everything if you go non-seq and you have removed all emission stuff (cat, air pump, etc).

be sure you let no nipple unblocked on the manifold or you will get a boost leak. Just jet the little cap that used to be where the boost gauge goes.

Serge, PM me if you want any help, tell me where you are stuck. Didn't you do the hose job?

Hey puma,

Yes I did the hose job last year. However I am a bit confused about the parallel option. A diagram would be very helpfull about the parallel hose set up.

I will let you know when I am stuck.

Thanks

go to www.robrobinette.com there will be a turbo symplification mod listed. in there you will find a turbo control diagram. all you need to keep is the wastegate control solenoid. so just figure out what has to stay to keep that and pull the rest out. also you should hook the fuel pressure regulator up to a vacuum nipple like the one on the back of the lower intake manifold so that you can get rid of that solenoid too. if you still have the stock ecu then you need to go but some 330 ohm 1/2 watt resistors to put in the pluggs from the solenoids. i'm sure that i'm leaving something out so just email me if you have any other questions. jeddevenport@hotmail.com :D
