Blown fuse? Interior light and headunit not working

Hey guys,
A couple of days ago, I was trying to fix the 2 green wires that are connected to the ignition (the wires i think control a beeping noise if your door is open) and I accidently touched one of the wires to the metal ignition ring and it sparked. That led me to believe I shorted or blew the fuse, but it also affected my headunit and interior lights. I was wondering how I should approach this problem and where I should begin looking for the fuse. Any suggestions would help. THanks a bunch.

[Yes i know i'm dumb, forgot to unplug the battery  ]

Anyone have any suggestions? =(

check the fuses dude!

oh... sorry, they would be in the drivers side footwell, near and right above the left plastic footrest. There is a little cover about 3"x5" rectangular. Find it and pop it off, it is real simple, turn it over get the tool and check the fuses.

Check the 120amp Main fuse in the fuse box next to the battery. I think that is your problem.

ok its not the main 120 amp fuse or like nothing would work, im thinkin its ur interior lights fuse but yeah its in the drivers side footwell, on the left side, easy to find.

yea thanks guys i found it. It was the main fuse near the driver side footwell. I replaced it and it works now. But after I broke the plastic cover that closes the rectangular white plastic piece that goes next to the metal ignition key hole(with 2 green wires connected), there isn't enough pressure to have it contact. Every so often i have to use my fingers and push it so it wouldn't beep (my car beeps and thinks i have the key in the hole while my door is open, but the keys not really in there). THanks for the help and suggestions guys. I really appreciate it.

hey, my little noise doesnt come on when i leave the keys in the ignition with the door open or lights on. Got any ideas of what to check? There are no other symptoms other than the factory alarm beeing reeeaaaallllyyy moody.

only thing i can think of is that there is no connection at all where the 2 green wires connect to the white connecter that is connected to the metal ignition ring. YOu should see it when you take the steering wheel plastic pieces off. It is near the metal ignition hole with 2 green wires sticking out, check the connection there. Only guess i have rigth now. HOpe that helped
