Blown engine?
 

Hi guys, Im trying to figure out whats wrong with my car. I have almost no oil pressure at idle and when i get on the gas it only goes to about a little bit above 60psi. I was reading some of the other posts and mine seems kinda low. Is there any way symtoms that i can look for to hint it might be blown besidees oil pressure. thanks!

oil pressure won't tell you if it's blown. your oil pressure sounds correct. go to the FAQ stickies and you'll find a link to iluvmyrx7.com where you can download the service manual in PDF form to read about correct oil pressures.

if you want to determine how healthy your engine is, have a compression test done at a rotary specialist.

sounds like a bad oil pressure sending unit, which is common.

what is your vacuum at idle on your boost gauge, and what is your idle set at?
