Bloody door handel broke!
Well I go to get into my car and the bloody door handel broke off right in my hand! Does anyone happen to know where I can find a cheap replacment? I would actually love to replace it with a carbon fiber piece. Or does anyone have a used one laying around? By the way it was my drivers side handel (outside).
Thanks in advance:D |

1-888-533-3400 Talk to Ray Crowe Mine broke last year. Ordered one from Ray for a little over $100. The CF ones floating around are nothing but stock handles with a CF overlay on them. |
to keep this from happening again lube the door handle shaft with wd-40 from time to time by taking the door handle assembly apart. for some reason that shaft will get dirty and corrode making it vary hard to pull the handle up.

Lithium grease, no WD-40.... Enough said..

As above, WD-40 is good for corrosion prevention (and making plastic shiny :D), but it does not lubricate.

Crap...$100...was hoping it was cheaper than that. But nothing for 3rd gens are:) Anyone know of somebody that has a wrecked parts car? Ya I will def lube up the next handle...

When I bought my car the driver's side door handle was broken. I repaired it with JB weld and it has been working for a 1 1/2 years now with a good lubrication. There were some adjustment/wear issues to require excessive handle force which caused the break.
I bought a used one that I keep handy. A broken handle is a real PITA. Steve |
westcoasttunner, there is a parts sales section on this forum, you may find it there.
