INJEN 7,

You should research a little what "Blockoff Plates" are.... They are not to "Block off the license plate". They are plates designed to fit over areas onto manifolds (and other parts) to enable people to remove equipment they aren't using. For instance, people removing the airpump can also remove parts like the ACV. This will leave a huge hole in the Lower Intake Manifold, so you use a "Blockoff Plate" to cover up the hole where the ACV used to be.

for the lazy ones, yes they are M6 with a 1.0 pitch....

Thanks guys, but rather than using washers on the studs, I'm going to increase the thickness of the BOP. Does anyone have an ACV off their car that they can measure the thickness of the bolt flange? I really want to make these BEFORE removing stuff.
Also, couldn't I just use the old metal gasket or buy some gasket material and cut out a gasket rather than use silicone or Permatex Ultra Gray?

HDP, I used 1/8" aluminum. Almost all of the fasteners/studs in the IM are M6x1.0. If you need a hand, let me know, I'm up in HSV.

Thanks broken93. I don't think I've had the pleasure. Mike (sk8world) had asked me if I had met you.

But is there any way you can measure the bolt flange on you ACV? I want to use the studs and I need to know how thick to make the BOP. Thanks.

Yeah, I can do that. I'll post back when I get home tonight.

I've yet to meet anyone in the area. Apparently I'm living under a rock (I mean, living under my FD).
