Big electrical problem!

I got my car out of the bodyshop a few days ago and I have had some strange electrical problems sence. Im not sure if this problem is something i have done or the bodyshop. Here is what happen; Im driving down the road and I noticed the left turn arrow (dash cluster) was slightly lit up, a few minutes later all the guages and consol lights quit working ect..(everything the dimmer controls). I saw that my water temp is very slowly increasing, by then I got pulled over by a police officer becuase the tail lights quit working also.ect ect... I started the car back up, flick the light switch on and the drivers side headlight failed to "popup", the rear tail lights were very dim and also I noticed the left turn signal (rear tail light) was slightly lit up (just like the arrow in the dash cluster), and the left 99spec turn signal(front-left) was very dim. The fans were barley turning and thats why the temp was slowly increasing. I have had these problems for a few days now but tonight all the problems happened at the same time. Turnsignals failed to work also.
So, does anyone have any bright I ideas??? Sorry If this doesnt make sence becuase of all the problems. Turn sig/blinker , dimmer switch , headlight , Fans ect.

Generaly when you have more than one problem electrically (unrelated) it lead to one of two things, either the power source or the grounding source. Body shops tend to disconnect the ground at the battery when working on the cars. It may be that they unhooked a ground at the motor instead while working on what ever they were fixing. You can check in the area of the repair for grounds that were left unhooked or take it back to them to find out what they overlooked. Sounds to me like they worked in the front end area, but you didn't say so it's just a guess. Dim lights points towards ground, slow moving fans points to ground, turn signal indicator points to ground, looks to me like none of them have a good connetion to ground and are feeding back through what ever route the power can find.

This might be common sense, but a good starting point for diagnosing electrical problems is check all the fuses, then check all the connectors. Be sure the battery terminals are securely fastened also.

If the problem occurred after the bodyshop worked on your car, it's probably the bodyshop's fault. You should call them ASAP.

How about checking the battery connections and cleaning them and reconnecting them? and perhaps your alternator?

Problem solved! There are 2 grounds that come out of the harness that runs under the top core support piece, on 94wiring diagram there labled (1) and (2) pg. Z-60 - Z-62 (turnsignals ect..) Thanks for the help and support.
