Best wideband for under $400?

Im looking for something thats not gonna interfear with my PFC and that has a small readout so I can mount the display on my dash. Has to be red. Preferably digital.

That narrows things down...

Does this plug into the datalogit for the PFC or will it operate independent of my ECU?

Trevor 10-24-05 05:32 PM

The controller itself is independent of the ECU. If you choose you can run the 0-5V output from the wideband to the datalogit box for the PowerFC if you pick one up. it comes in handy for datalogging.

Awesome. This is exactly what I wanted. Thanks!

this might be a stupid, no brainer question but can i use an aftermarket wide band o2 sensor with a stock configuration/ecu for a better reading?

Best bet in my opinion is to save up the extra $$ and get yourself a FJO wideband, compadible with the datalogic..

I don't see why? The current version of the FJO comes with a lot of features (like datalogging) that are not needed if you have the PFC Datalogit. The newer Techedge units have the same problem.

The PLX Devices unit is very cheap, is manufactured here in the USA and only comes with the features you need -- you can get it without a display even for under $260 including sensor. It outputs a linear 0-5V for the Datalogit (no polynomial required!).

I'm selling a Zeitronix Zt-2 unit that I've successfully used to tune my RX-7.

Many other car owners have been satisfied with it as well (perform a google search).
