Bent Subframe need help
I recently had a little accident that left me with broken control arms among other things on the front pass side. I have now realized that the impact not only broke the control arms, but bent the subframe back with them causing the the wheel to appear 1-2 inches back of where its supposed to be with new arms. Does anybody know what the best thing to do in this situation would be? I have not been able to locate a new subframe, I dont even know what it would cost new or used, so if anyone can help..... thanks

The only thing to do is to continue searching.
I am very surprised that you cannot get a part/price from Mazda for this - as it is replaceable. |
It looks like the part number is FD01-34-800G.
Mazdamotorsports.com is showing $364.25, but none in stock at the moment. Might be worth a call to a few dealers. --Lee |
there is mazdarecycling.com
they are in Cali and have almost everything in stock. I got my subframe 250 shipped on the west coast. |
I had the same problem. I had to replace the front and rear suspension on the passenger side, arms, tie rod, etc. If you need any help or need some extra parts, I might be able to help. Send me an email or PM me.
send me some pics of the damage. fastass4g63@netzero.net |
