Hi there,

A bit of a strange question, but any ideas how much pressure build up in the sump would be needed to affect the oil flow return from the turbos and force oil out through healthy turbo oil seals?

A lot, or a tiny amount?

I had alot of oil being blown out of the turbos - the turbos were reconditioned but the problem persists. It has been suggested that there is pressure build up in the sump. Which would mean compression gas leakage? To that end, I had the engine compression tested and had 7s across all chambers, basically all were the same +/- 0.1bar. With results this even (and pretty good), could there be enough gas leakage to force oil out of the turbos?
