autometer mechanical temp. gauge reinstall need help.
 

I can't find the manual to install my temp. gauge. The housing is already tapped. The set-up was from my old car, but the wires are gone. Thought someone could give me quick instructions to hook back-up. Obviously the white and black wires coming from the backlight is self-explanatory. As for the other three, bottom left reads ground. Of the other two : which runs power and which goes to the housing. Thanks Garret...

Are you sure it is mechanical, because mechanical gauges usually only have one place to put the hose for the sensor to the gauge, Electrical gauges has the three terminals? NE ways see if this helps. The terminal right underneath to the twist in light is ground. The lower left terminal is to the sensor and the the lower right is to the power. If you need better explaination let me know.
