Automatics: raising RPM limit?

I know that the Power fc allows you to raise the RPM shifting point on manuals.. I knwo that power fc works with automatic fd's yet losses hold funciton etc... But I was wondering does it still allow you to raise the RPM shifting point on an automatic. Also...does it allow you to take off the rev limit? Holding down on the brake and pushing down the gas the car will only rev up to like 2-2.5k. Does the power fc allow you to raise this limit also? Thank you

From wat I understand, that 2k - 2.5k limit on the car is not from the ECU. A power fc wouldn't hurt, but I think it's the torque convertor that limits your revs. Just get an aftermarket torque convertor and you'll be able to change this, although you might sacrifice streetability if you do that.

DB is right, your reaching your torque convertors stall speed. You can get a new TC with a higher stall but its not worth it. The auto's in these cars are junk, I shelled mine out just the other day just by upping the power with bolt-ons.

Needless to say I will be one of the people converting to a 5-speed.

And for the price of an upgraded TC you can buy half the junk to do a swap.
