automatic starter bolt(s) size (lower side)
i am having problems finding a previous topic relating to the specification of my problem. i just bought a fd and had to put a starter on it before i could drive it. my question is since my bolts fell out what size are the bolts on a automatic fd starter on the lower side? thanks for all your help!

If it's the same as the manual transmission (I don't see why not)..... M10-1.25 thread pitch, 30mm long. Hex flanged cap screw/bolt.
I found them at Autozone for $3.00/two. Why I had to replace it is another story. |
The starter has two bolts, and the upper one is substantially LONGER than the other and uses the appropriate nut & lockwasher.
I would say it's a about 3-inches long, or 75mm. :-) neil |
just incase anyone in the future needs to know they are m8-1.0 30mm long. feel free to contact me on any questions. you can get them at autozone 3 pack for 3 bux automotive grade 10.9 they were 13mm heads tho for some reason.
