autolite AR3932X plug installation?

About 10 years late to the table here, however I have a motor that is not cooperating so I may foul some plugs. I got some of the Autolite AR3932X plugs just in case as sacrificial units or I can use them for a while if they don't get killed.
Question however. When installing these, did you you the crush washer and if so which direction was it used? One side of the washer is slightly bigger in diameter than the other.

Use the crush washer with those AR3932X spark plugs.

The fat hollow/deformable side goes toward the engine.

These AR3932X plugs are super close to the rotor housing surface at the ground surface even with the crush washers. I test fit some in a rotor housing outside the engine to check them out.

I also used them on a fresh rebuilt just for 1st start. I wasn't brave enough to use them when racing.
