auto fd owners check this out

as many of you know, I was on a personal quest for a manumatic FD. Well, I failed and succumbed to the dark side, but now you may not have to. Coupled with the PCS TCU, this wireless paddle shifting hub may be the key to your f1 dreams.

who wants to be the first test bunny.

Comptech 02-26-05 03:20 PM

I would be the test dumb if someone wants to buy it for me.

weaklink 02-27-05 05:09 PM

bump for the autos

dclin 02-27-05 06:15 PM

Damn, if only I had waited a few years...:D Or I could just convert back to an auto... :P

bajaman 02-27-05 06:36 PM

Looks cool!

NINjaX7 02-27-05 08:43 PM

it's cool but I bet torque would still be pitiful at a complete stop

ManGaZeRo 02-27-05 08:55 PM

So bascially we are paying 500 to shift by paddle instead of using hold and going through the gears?

NO! you are paying $539 for the paddles, $200+ for an aftermarket wheel, $850 for TCU and wiring harness. It's still cheaper than my 5 speed swap, until you consider that I had already bought all of the other stuff. If this had come out earlier, I probably would have stayed single for a while longer, if not forever.

Im probably going to be the first test bunny, also add either a 4.33 diff or a 4.1 i dont know yet. Im convinced that we could do something really nice with our autos.

its useful for track people because its like an f1 shifter.

as for me, i still prefer using the good old stick hehe

Cool, i like the idea . . . .

How would i make this a application for my car? Do they make a kit for the rx7?
