auto drive shaft on a manual differential?

I know buying a manual drive shaft is a easier option, but just wondering if this is possible.I remember reading it somewhere, but can't find the post. On the manual differential where it bolts to the drive shaft, that flange part is thicker, than the auto flange. I heard it's thicker to aborb some of the torque. Will i have any problems using the auto driveshaft and using the manual diff with the skinner flange. Is it hard to swap the flange. What do i need to do to make the auto driveshaft work with the manual diff.

While I cant attest to the length changes in the d shafts I can tell you the flanges are interchangeable. Pinion preload is 12" lbs in. I do have a standard d shaft for $70 plus shipping. Mail me at mruhlin@hotmail.com

I decided to purchase a manual drive shaft from Rayman93.I'm finally done buying parts for the conversion.

the output shafts are different on the transmissions... it is impossible to do... the manual driveshaft will fit on the auto differential with some drilling though... ;)
