Apex'i Super intake install
 
hey, does anyone have some detailed pics of the installation of the apex'i intake. its on the way (comin for my bday) and i want to put it in the day i get it and i didnt know if it had good instructions or whatever. hit me up with some help/pics or something else. peace
edit-i screwed up the title, i guess its the power intake now, the latest intake from apex'i is what i meant

They come with instructions (Japanese), but there are a pictures which is enough to figure out how to install the thing. Here are some pics of it installed if that helps?

The only thing the pictures didn't clearly specify was there are 2 mounting brackets from the old air box you must remove. One is down on a big metal bar (for lack of a better description) connect by 2 bolts with a little metal wire stciking up. the longer intake bar will connect to the hole towards the dirver side this leaves. the bolts are on pretty good. the other is behind the headlight area, with another of those metal wires. it's not nescasarry to pull it out, but it will no longer have a use, so shave that small amount of weight.

Also, don't forget to put the little restrictor thingie in the correct hose :).

Where does the restrictor thingy go?
 
I just got mine today and looked over the instructions...but as I Japanese is a bit rusty I couldn't figure out where the restrictor goes....

I know which pipe/hose it is but does it go in the pipe on the intake (looks like a tight fit) or does it go in the hose itself?
