Apex'i AVC-R clicking noise when ignition is at ON position

As the title states there is a loud clicking noise every once and a while when the car is off and ignition is turned to the ON position just not started. The clicking is coming from the boost control solenoid for the AVC-R. I just want to see if this has happened to you or what it could be.

Also the AVC-R RPM's aren't accurate, they read about 500rpm at idle and 7500rpm reads 5800rpm on the AVC-R. This doesn't bother me as much because I just use the AVC-R monitor to view Boost and Throttle percentage and use the Power FC to view rpms, but am just looking for a solution.

I think it says in the instructions that the solenoid will click. Read the book more to back me up though.

First off, check to make sure your TPS connector is clicked in. Secondly, check to make sure that all the wires on the ecu wiring harness that you tapped the avc-r with are all secured. Lastly, check to make sure that the pressure feedback sensor hose is plugged in all the way.

I think the AVC-R solenoid does cycle by itself - I don't think it's a big deal.

As far as the RPM's - you probably have the AVC-R set for 6-cylinders. Set it to 4-cyl mode and see what you get.
