Anyone Install Projector Headlights into a Rotary Extreme Sleek Headlight Conversion?

Hi,

I'm considering going in a different direction with my headlights. I currently have the EVO-R sleek headlight conversion, but it seems to be getting extremely played out so I want something different.

I'm interested in getting one of the Re-Amemiya headlight conversions and since the Rotary Extreme one is essentially a replica I figured I'd ask this question to those guys with the Rotary Extreme/Re-Amemiya Headligh conversion.

"Has anyone installed projector headlights into the Rotary Extreme/Re-Amemiya sleek headlight conversion kits?"

I don't like the look of headlights with fog lights installed in them but I really like the fitment on the Rotary Extreme headlight kits and I like the overall look. Any help is appreciated.

If nobody's really done/considered this can anyone direct me to where I could purchase quality projectors from? The Rotary Extreme lights say they use 90 mm Hella Bulbs so should I go about looking for projectors in the same size?

Thanks,

Rizwan

The RE kit does use projectors. Hella 90mm projector units to be exact, and are one of the best units you can find. Only the high beam are free form as they should. http://www.hella.com/produktion/Hell...dules_90mm.jsp for a link about the units

best option is buy evo r kit as it is very good value but dont purchase the projectors
buy the hella 50mm units and make up a mounting bracket.use50mm hid xenon low beam and fog or 50mm halogen for high beam.the 90mm units need a lot of adjustment and fiddling to get light input onto the road.

You are going to have a hard time getting the RotaryExtreme kit since they are no longer in business. I have the RE-Amemiya kit with Hella 90mm projectors. Well actually the are a bit more than 90mm since i switched to the angle eyes. They do fit in the RE sleek light kit, but because of the way they mount and were slightly bigger than expected, they didnt fit at first. It took a lot of cutting, fitting, cutting, fitting ...... cutting and fittng some more before they finally sat flush below the lexon cover. If you get the RE-Amamiya kit, just use the lights they provide, its much eaiser.

I dont have any instilation pics, but here is what it looks like when its done.

A word of warning: the projector lights put out a lot of heat, so much heat infact they turned the RE lexon covers yellow-brown in a few months. (this is why you new covers that are easily removable with screws)
