Any way to test the oil injectors and OMP?

I have my block stripped down right now, and want to know if there is a way to test the oil injectors and OMP for flow and that they are working properly?

the valves themselves are one way valves so blow through them and make sure you cant suck air out of them. as for the OMP u might have to wait till the motor has oil in it and see if it is pumping with the lines off. i would run premix anyway because that omp is kind of shady IMO. i deleted it on my car and like it alot better because i know there is oil going in there.

I've seen a case with an omp not throw a code but it wasn't working right. Took the guy 3 motors with warped apex seals to realize this. Ended up running the motor with the omp lines disconnected to see that there was very little oil coming out.

ok cool. I will pull out the injectors and blow in them. Would it be OK to clean them in a bit of parts cleaner?

can I pull off the OMP and run 12V to it with the tube sitting in some oil? What kind of resistance does the OMP have? Can I test this with a multimeter like you can do to coils and such?

I plan to as well, but I would like to know if it's working or not.

with it off put a little oil into the port where it hooks to the motor and then put 12 volts to one of the wires and see if it turns on. other than that u would have to have it on the motor.

No, this won't work because it's a stepper motor with 4 windings. The plug has a bunch of terminals in it.

Someone with stepper motor experience might be able to show you how to connect the terminals with voltage in the proper succession, but it sounds difficult at best.

Read the FSM on code 26 and 27 to get an idea of what voltages and resistances the ECU looks for. It's a lot more than a resistor can duplicate.

iirc the pump is mech with electronic flow control
