any way to get bathurst suspension?
does anyone know of a way to get the factory bilstein coilover setup from the bathurst? i don't want a used set and was trying to find a way to get new prices from a dealer, but as we all know, we don't get them here in the states

Try http://www.jt-imports.com. You'll have to email about it, it won't be on the website.

i didn't know if jason was able to get em or not, but i'll check anyways. thanks

why would you wanna spend so much money on Stock setup? for the less money, you can get something better. that's barely a improvement over R1 setup. just go get 8 way gab.
|
who says it's so expensive? i don't need anything any better than the r1 suspension, but i would like some height adjustment. seems logical to me. who would know the suspension of the FD better? mazda or some aftermarket company?
|
It's OEM, from Japan, and limited quantity. It's expensive.
|
even if, i'm just checking the prices to compare it to an aftermarket setup. if i can save some money buying those versus say, a tein flex setup, then i'll buy the oem setup
|
Aftermarket setups are better, spoolin.
The R1 damper settings are a compromise anyways. Jacked up rebound and just average compression. |
just weighin options boys :)

My point is that it's more economical to just save up more money and go with a better setup rather than going halfway and getting the exact same results but with the ability to lower the car.
|
if i can save a little money, that would be nice. that's what i'm looking into doing. i don't need the aftermarket, but if it's cheaper, then i'll get it from an exonomical standpoint. the factory suspension is fine for what i do with my car. i just don't like the way it sits, plus my shocks are currently blown and i'm looking at options to replace them with
