Couldn't resist getting another one, this time it's a BB 93 touring w/ 130k chassis, 40k motor and a few mods, anyone whom has some tan interior pieces let me know... it's almost perfect but needs just a little TLC...

Car has apexi intakes, catless downpipe, greddy sp2 exhaust, gauges, aluminum ast... 20" of vacuum @ warm idle (750rpm) and runs like a dream... however when the secondary turbo comes on the boost does spike to 14-15psi, if i remember correctly i need to increase the size of the hole in the actuator line restrictor to minimize it?

You want a boost controller to stop spiking.

I have a pair of rear pillar trim pieces in tan in really nice shape. Cheap.

Yeah this was WUTANEC's car, I had a white on black 94 that got into a fight with a tree in late 2005 last time, i'll get a parts inventory going for what I need, right now just happy to have a sti for a daily driver and a rx7 in garage again :Kill1:

IMO, a refinished '93 interior looks better than the textured stuff of the 94-95's. Just redo your panels and make it new again:

yea no shit. When I saw the name all that came to mind was, teen and sigle car accident.

I'm 26 and the last one was lost on a winter night that it hadn't snowed for a week but around a corner on the highway I went over ice and down a ditch, I wasn't driving it irresponsibly, but I shouldn't have taken it out at all.

Don't be afraid to take the car out in cold weather. Just realize that even with dry roads during the winter, tire grip is reduce because of the ground and ambient temps. Add in if you have some summer tires on there and you need to be a little more cautious (i.e. back the speed down a little from what you would normally drive).

Dry roads don't always mean full speed ahead. ;)

agreed, all the awd subarus & audis i've owned (FD was my first RWD) have inspired some false confidence

Ah ya I remember you now :tonque:, I thought the name was familiar but didn't link it to that white 94' at first. Let me know what interior parts your going to want when you get around to wanting them, by then I might have mine ready to sell.

Having driven my father's IS350 on RE050s a couple times this winter, I'd say "a lot more cautious."
