Antenna Connectors

For anyone who has installed connectors on the ends of the two antenna cords to plug into the back of a new head unit...where did you get your connectors?

you can get it at any stereo shop or radio shack

I've been to Radio Shack, no longer car antenna connectors; Pep Boys, they had plenty of adapters but no connectors; Best Buy, one GM adapter; Wal-Mart, same as Pep Boys.

What I need is either the connector or a male to male cord for each one (two).

Can you think of anywhere else to try?

ALSO!!!

I've got a Nakamichi head unit along with CD changer waiting, -quietly- in the car. Everything powers up, the CD changer isn't showing any errors; that's my only sound because I'm w/o antenna right now.

I have a Shosche adapter and everything's wired up. I have a few issues with it, there is no black ground wire, only an orange, so I assumed that was the ground wire despite the convention and the diagram saying black.

Also, there is a black connector in the stereo well that says fuse on one side and amp on the other; there's no connection for it on the adapter. So is this black connector supposed to be connected to the remote switch on the amp, or does the same wire that turns on the antenna power up the amps? The factory head unit was pulled out by some idiot (the idiot before me), so I don't know how it was connected.

If anyone's confused, I think my problem is the (factory) amps are not being switched on. I don't know if I should have a remote switch wire coming from the head unit into the black connector labeled amp and fuse.

I'm also not sure which remote switch wire to connect because I don't have the wiring diagram for the head unit I have. I, instead, have a diagram from another Nak unit. There are three confusing wires on it, blue, blue/white, and another labeled DAC remote (what's that?).

Can anyone help?

Update.

New head unit/s are up and running. Light green and black wire connected to remote amp wire.

BUT,

I turned on my headlights to see how well the amber matched and I think a fuse blew, but I don't know which one...I don't have a manual. Not all of them are out, it just seems to be all the lights than come on with the headlights...AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Update,

Fuse located, I'm going to recheck all my grounding to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Cool stuff: TA-25 head unit changes from greep to amber, I thought it was just amber when I bought it. (The CD changer does the same).

'Still haven't had any luck finding the connectors for the antenna.
