Another project FD

Check it out guys!

I'm in the process of tearing it down for a complete repaint. Doors, hatch, bumper covers, etc will come off so there are no nasty tape lines and nowhere for the paint to start peeling from later.

More pics as progress continues.

What is this, # 17 on the FD list?? ;)

GET'EM, Jeff!

911GT2 04-08-04 10:00 AM

That car looks so clean and immaculate minus the damage. The rims are spotless! This one looks a lot less damaged than your previous projects. You getting soft on us? ;)

You're a credit to FD owners everywhere. Keep saving them! :)

turbojeff 04-08-04 11:04 AM

The damage isn't as bad as some other FDs we've fixed but it is in a *bad* location/tough area to fix.

Yeah it is #17, but I owned 1 car twice;).

93BlackFD 04-08-04 11:16 AM

revsteve 04-08-04 01:30 PM

looks like you got some pretty bad leaks. hopefully the damage is just minor.

how much did you get her for? what are her specs?

Btw: You are my hero jeff. I hope my garage looks like that one day!

FormerPorscheGuy 04-08-04 01:34 PM

Good job Jeff, you are the man. Most people wreck these things, its good to see someone dedicated to bringing them back from the dead.

Is/was that DaedelGT's car? Good to see you're still bringing RX-7's back to life. :)

I love it, wash a wrecked car you're about to fix and repaint!

turbojeff 04-08-04 05:55 PM

Gotta wash it before it is painted right:).

Yes it was his car.

talljosh85 04-08-04 06:19 PM

Its like your doing the car god's work, you must be some sort of rotary holy man. I wish I had a garage of my own, good luck!

Did you have the strut tower brace brackets chromed and where did you get the blingy hardware to go with it?
