Another break in recommendation, but mines different.

I bought a used motor with 4000 miles on it, and took it apart, and rebuilt it with a rotary mechanic. He said the apex seals had hardly any wear on them or side wear. I re used all apex seals. I replaced one side seal from a used motor, but all were used and with in specs. The housing were in good shape also with hardly any wear.Replaced all rubber seals, Do i still need to break in the motor? Motor is a streetport. and i'm installing my R85 also with 850/1600 injectors, and using Apex PFC/commander and have dataloggit. I have received a map from stevenoz for the R85. I bought a 3 bar map sensor also, this map was setup for it also. Do you think i should install the r85 map and breakin the motor with it? I have the new PFC so i have the updated basemap, but since i have bigger injectors that probably won't work, even if i change the setting for bigger injectors won't the base map be off then? Also i have read that you break in clutches also. I'm thinking of going with exedy twin plate, and read that you have to do a few 5000 rpm launches to break them in after you do the low rpm break in first. But you don't want to do that when breaking in a motor, So what is recommended to break in a motor and a high performance clutch at the same time

Did you mark the apex seals and make sure the fronts stayed in the front housing and the rear stayed in the rear housing. If so, I doubt you need much break in. If they are mixed up then yes you will need to do a good break in.

They are mixed up alittle. I keeped each one with each rotor, but didn't due the same apex.
