Amemiya V-mount install?

Trying to install the RE-Amemiya V-mount IC and running into probs. Anyone install this exact kit, or have pics of it installed? I've already seen all the pics of Rotary Extreme's and I don't need those...

maybe if you took pictures of what problems youre having and posted them on here we could help you more. we have no idea what you're dealing with because of the zero detail in your post.

I have the Greddy Airinx intake and I can't seem to make it fit with the IC. However, I have seen 1 or 2 pics of this combination, but they were from a bad angle (so I couldn't see how it was done). Also, I'm looking for a couple pics of the radiator installed (before the IC is on the car), so I can get a general idea of how it will be mounted (along with the A/C and radiator fans)...

anyone???

I don't believe anyone else here has installed or even purchased an RE-A V-mount yet.

what kind of probs....is this a fitment issue or something else...

turbox2 02-19-04 02:21 PM

Yeah, fitment issue with the intake. I'd just be interested in hearing what intakes other people are using with this IC, but I haven't found anyone else who is using it...

Make it fit. It cannot be that hard.

Remember, you can make things fit better with a 2x4 than you can with just a kind word.

you can chop the airnix pipe to make it shorter and come closer to the turbo/turbos. I would help if you posted your whole setup too, cause if you have a T-78 or something, you could just throw the filter on the turbo without the intake tube.

If you have the stock twins you can always measure the diameter of the intake tube and go to an exhaust shop and have them bend you a set of pipes if you give him the measurements if you want the filters to go behind the passenger headlight.

If you want more help, a little more description would help

I've seen amemiya advertise the kit with a set of airinx on - so it's got to be possible ;)
