ALL kinds of problems, about to give up

Alright.I work 12 hour days and spent about 3 days searching and trying and nothing.Call me whatever you want,i guess i need help on MY car. Here goes:

93 with stock twins,3in.full exhaust,HKS BOV,Greddy Profeb B,R/L Guage,Boost Gauge,and God knows whatever else(nothing else really,stock ECM)

Bought the car once I seen it on eBay,went to Fl and picked it up.Drove it back here to Jersey,no problems,so i thought.Boost is about 4-6 psi max,end of story.I really have nothing else to say other than if there is someone here in the Jersey area that can look at this thing and tell me what the hell to do,itd be appreciated. The Solenoid Valve(pressure control) nipples are both broken, and the UIM has basically not a damn hose connected along its side.Honestly,im fed up and dont know what else to do.Im hoping someone here can help me out and get all this crap taken care of.

If you need any other information on whats on the car, please let me know and ill take pictures of whatever.

ANY help will be greatly appreciated!!

P.S. As soon as I figure the hell out how to resize this damn picture, ill post it. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

I suggest that you make a post in your regional forum. Ask for names of good rotary shops in your area.

rynberg 06-13-06 04:15 PM

How the hell can we help you from that info?

1. Your car has a massive boost leak to hold you at 4-6 psi with those mods.

2. It's a good thing you have a massive boost leak, otherwise you would be hitting 15+ psi and blowing the motor.

3. Take the car to a rotary expert and let them fix it. Either that, or get a FSM, read some of the FAQ thread, and get troubleshooting.

If the solenoid nipples are broken off, that is probably why you're only getting 6psi, same with the lines on the UIM.

Get your hands on the FSM (sticky at the top of the forum) and look at the vacuum line diagram. You can do this yourself.

If you need solenoids LMK, I have all the stock solenoids from my FD. (wastegate, prespool, actuator control, emissions, etc)

I would say there needs to be some major hose overhaulin done here. I t sounds like someone tried to eliminate some hoses they thought were not needed but didn't know what they were doing.

Posting that pic will help. If you don't have Photoshop, copy the picture into MS Paint and then go to the "Image" tab and then click "Stretch/Skew" and from there just change your horizontal and vertical percentages until you get the size you desire. Don't forget to save the pic as a "JPEG" or "GIF".

Get rid of the turbo timer and get rid of the A/F ratio monitor. Theyre both essentially useless. Sell them and use the money to get your car checked out.

Your car is jury rigged. You basically need to redo all of your vacuum lines and get all new check valves(from DaveClark). You dont need those nipples on your boost solenoids as long as you have a working condition profec B.

Youve just got a bit of a basket case and its going to take some downtime, searching, and reworking to get it up to snuff. Dont give up. Search and read and take your time and i promise youll be fine.

Start by redoing your vaccuum lines and check valves, and replumbing your profec B. If your turbos dont make boost after you get it tuned and all the plumbing is straight your turbos are probably shot but you cant be sure until the vaccuum system is set up correctly. Feel free to PM me with questions as I just went through some similar stuff and I will do my best to help you.

Looks like a vacum line nightmear! Try printing these out and traking your lies to make sure they are going where they should.

Where in Jersey are you? I have an extra rats nest with everything still on it. If you are not too far from me, I will try to help out as much as possible.

gafu mazda 06-15-06 08:36 AM

Thank you ALL for the help so far.Im in South Jersey(Vineland),about 25-30 minutes from either Philly or Atlantic City.I know Grandpa Racing in Philly,as well as the people with Partytime(car)there as well but theyre way too busy to help me out at this point.Jay-tech here in Vineland MAKES the intakes, and he doesnt work on em.I will get whatever I need from Mr:Clark, and if need be,the rats nest from chinaman, and ANY help from everyone else.I really dont know how much it costs for someone to fix all this crap, when someone has a problem with a 12a we just fix it,or help as much as we can,but i know this is different.Im not looking for handouts,I just want it to be done right.I have a 92 Camry that just needs the darn oil pump installed RIGHT,ill do that,eBay it and use all the money to get this thing done(if I cant figure it out with you guys' help first.)I will keep you updated on what I have done and what has happened.Again, thanks for the help!

Haha I said daveclark. My mistake it's DaleClark. Good luck.

I know!I went crazy on the net looking for Dave Clark and apparently emailed some guy that emailed back asking if i needed TCP/IP help!I figured it out though. Thanks Barban.I believe what im going to do is go over Jims shop JPR imports and have him do whtever the heck needs to be done.I started reading about the BOV and the rear screw, which probably has nothing to do with it but i DO hear alot of air escaping.Hope it can all get done right.Once again, thank you all for the help.

Just from looking at the way your CRV, and ABV are plumbed I'd say your setup is NON-sequential. Before you go trying to plumb it by the vacuum diagram you need to look at your turbo's and see if they were modified for non-sequential. If they are then you need to start tracking down boost leaks (pipe couplings, and hoses. Jack
