aftermarket radiator
 
does anyone know if the aftermarket radiators such as koyo or fluidyne use the ast tank ? my plastic ast tank is broken and i was thinking about buying a metal one , but i was also thinking about buying a better radiator just wanted to see if they were compatible first , thanks

yes , you can buy a metal ast. i have a koyo radiator and a pettit ast.

ditto above.. just had to fab up a bracket for the ast to mount to the radiator..

I didn't have any issues getting my fluidyne to fit; if that helps. Others may/may not agree though.

Plus you could do the AST eliminator process. I don't have an AST on my single turbo. No worries on it splitting.

A lot of people have removed the AST and there are write up of what the processes is on-line.
