Aftermarket intercooler fitment w/
I recently installed the Blitz SUS intake. I'm looking to upgrade my intercooler. I would like a FMIC but am not sure waht one might fit. By looking at a few pictures the Blitz looks like the best bet. Any suggestions?

FMICs really screw up the front of the car IMHO. Get a SMIC, it is better for the car:).
ASP ICs are a good choice. |
FMIC's can take 5 x longer to install than an SMIC

FMIC's kick ass. lol, just thought id add that, cause everyone else doesnt seem to like cold air and nice looks, lol.
As far as the blitz, almost nothing works with it. Sorry to tell you, you might have to buy a different intake. I assume the Blitz intercooler works, but it doesnt seem to be the favorite among owners. |
sr motorsports makes an intercooler that may fit in the stock location with that intake setup.....

I have the Blitz front mount which I got from Jason.
It went in easily without only one bracket needing modding due to having a larger than stock radiator. The problem was the AC condensor coil. This took much time getting it in correctly and having to mod most of the brackets. The kit is realy made for Jap cars. No problem with mine and I live in Houston. If you want to track the car, then a SMIC might be better unless you make extra mods to insure good radiator cooling. The new Greddy FMIC is probably better. |
Does the greddy 2 row FMIC fit with the apex intake?

Here's a good thread on blitz's vs Greddy's FMIC.
