aftermarket gauge location

Hi guys,
I was wondering, for all those people that placed aftermarket gauges in the location under the radio... What size gauges did you use? Was it the 52mm or 60?
This is the location where you push the button and the door drops down...
Am I making any sense here?

I am pretty sure they are 52mm or the 2" 1/16. Saab makes a tripple gauge holder for like $10. Part #1800-428-8211

Yeah I saw this setup in WanttoRace's car a couple of month's back, it was tight. I just wasn't sure of the size of the gauge. Hummm those Defi gauges at the RX-7 Store sure do look nice.....

Here is a link regarding the Saab setup

Since it takes 3 gauges I've been trying to decide which gauges would be the best. Based on the feedback I have received the top 2 are the water temp & egt. Still undecided on the gauge for the last slot. Would like to put in a gauge that has a little action though.

Hey thanks for the information. It's great, I'm going to check out those VDO, I like the look of that boost gauge.

I wonder if my local Saab dealership will have that plate in stock?
