aftermarket fans
hey fellas, im looking for some electric after market fans to go along with the koyo rad. was looking at FAL Flexalite fans and i was wondering which model would work with the koyo mounting positions?

Why not stay with the stock fans? They bolt right up to the Koyo rad and are very efficient.

I'm running stock fans on my Koyo 3-core rad.
Stock fans flow very well. Unless your stockers are broken, I wouldn't reccomend messing with them. Getting an FC Thermoswitch is a better way to get your temps under control, if that's an issue. |
I have a pair of electric fans at the shop. They belonged to CMonokar. I will have to get the specs but they were an extra set he had for his 3 rotor car. Let me know if you are interested. The profit will go to the diabetes charity his parents chose.

I mounted a set of Flex-a-lite fans on a Koyo. It is really difficult to get them sealed up well to the Koyo. If I had it to do over I would have stayed with the stock fans.

I have the Flex-a-lite dual fans on my 20B. It does a pretty good with my Koyo radiator.

I use 2 proform 12" fans that flow 1200 cfm each. Dia.: 1200 CFM TOTALING 2400 CFM. Pleas note these fans outflow the Flexalite fans by 400 CFM.
Jegs part# 778-67012 Depth: 2.5'' CFM: 1200 Amps: 7.0 Reversible 778-67012 |
does that flow better than the stock fans?

This is what I have on the 20B w/my koyo radiator. 2500 cfm's. Never used the stock fans so I don't know how good they are. $249.95

Those look like a great option.
