after market toe links?
hi guys,,,,can someone recommend some after market toe links, i was looking at some of them megan racing ones on ebay , are they any good?
Also i noticed the standard toe links look like a pillowball surrounded by a rubber outer,,, i didnt want to go get aftermarket ones if its gonna make the car ride quality harder or noisy? . So im looking for a good replacement for standard (like i say the megan racing ones look nice)?? |
Pretty sure 'megan racing' is some generic ebay made in china junk, like 'obx' or 'super stone racing.' Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.
I run the Rotary Extreme toe links and trailing arms, i got them right before he closed up shop. Didn't make the car ride harder or noisier. See if you can score a set of used or new ones here on the forum. http://www.rotaryextreme.com/fdindex.html then click on 'suspension' |
The aftermarket toe links usually don't last as long as the stock w/bushings.
It shouldn't make the ride much more harsh (like aftermarket control arm bushings would). I do believe Megan racing is the cheap eBay junk. Dave |
^^Dave is right. Based on what I've read, most aftermarket links/arms have the bushings exposed to the elements/debris, thus they fail early. The RE ones come with dust shields which should prolong bushing life.

damm so i need to get RE ones or replace my standard ones,,,,ok guys thanks again.

Dale Clark recently teamed up with a local shop that now builds custom toe links and trailing arms with sealed bushings:
