Aem x wifi
ANYONE HAD TRY THIS WIDEBAND UNIT,
seems to be very easy to use and install since it works with wifi to laptop or iphone.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RlqOQ1TdGQ thanks for review users... |
AEM needs to make an App.
Using a web browser is relying on someone elses engineering. And to all who have used or are currently using Safari, expect to deal with browser lag & crashing. Not something I would trust, but a neat little notch market piece. Solid State Power Management coupled with high speed (real time) wireless data transfer would be awesome. But as for now, I'll stick with my standard linked laptop. |

I had to go check on their website and make sure, it does have 0-5v output as well for datalogging. If it didn't have that, it would be useless.
It's a neat idea, but it's really a gimmick. I don't see a good application for it. The AEM retails for over $300. For $100 less, you can get the Innovate LC-1 and DB gauge kit - http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...me.php?cat=262 That's a first rate wideband with 0-5v out, a nice looking gauge to mount in the car that makes more sense than looking at a phone while driving or tuning, and did I mention it's $223? Just a side note.
The possible EMI cause by using this kind of device could cause your dyno operator problems if running an Eddy Brake type dyno. |
