I've installed a few of the AEM's into non-RX-7's. They're OK, some of the wiring and stuff is a little chintzy, but it seems to work. The user interface is a little tricky, as you only have a few buttons, and it's not the best as a boost gauge as with any digital display - the numbers can't move as fast as a needle can.
I also can't speak for the long-term reliability of the AEM - I'm WAY not a fan of their wideband, and some of their electronics have been a bit dodgy. Might also be worth searching on the Supra forums for info - those guys have used every boost controller to death. The Gizmo's I've heard of, I'm just not keen on the clunky Radio Shack looking box they come in. Dale |
