Advice for rebuild

Hey everyone, Im looking to get another 3rd gen and was wondering which would be the best way to go: buy one with motor/tranny and everything else already in, or build one up over a summer. I will not be in a rush to build it and will have plenty of cash flow during the summer to buy required parts. I know a lot of you will say well what is your experience. I have some experience taking apart and rebuilding a friend of mines. I would most likely go with a single turbo conv. to get rid of alot of the confusing wiring. Let me know wht you guys think and if you have any advice for me. Thanks

It is probably less expensive in the long run to buy a car that is complete, so that you are not nickle and dimed to death trying to find parts. Unless you can find a roller for dirt cheap. I guess it really comes down to what you are looking to spend and what is available on the market.

If you're going to buy a roller and plan to use all new parts and can afford to do so then build it, but if you're going to buy a roller just to nickle and dime yourself to throw in used parts from a host of different cars with a mariad of backgrounds, then you're better off getting a car prebuilt since you will atleast have an idea of what you are starting from. You should also consider your time spent searching/building and down time in making your decision.
