Advice from owners please...

I have been looking for a FD3 for awhile and had a couple questions which I did search on but did not find any recent info.

1. Did any version of the car come with a tilt steering wheel. From what I see the answer is NO. Just trying to confirm.
2. Seems like the cars with sunroofs have a bulge in the headliner (normal I guess) Does anyone know if the stock seat can be lowered or if replacement seats drop at least an inch. My head is close...
3. Is there any place that shows how to do (in detail) a compression test and turbo boost check.

Thanks all

BM

2. If you plan on wearing a helmet, check for the clearance then. If your head hits, then a non-sunroof model might be the trick for you. (Correct me if I am wrong, mine has a sunroof and seems like it would be more spacious up there without it) I believe most aftermarket seats are pretty comperable to the stock seats as far as driver's height is concerned. BTW, how tall are you? Getting the seat properlay adjusted to your body is the real key. This isn't like most cars where you can sit in it and have head room no matter what. It has to be set up for you.

^couldnt have said it better myself. when i first got my fd i thought that i didnt fit in it very well bc im 6'4" but once i adjusted the seat just right i fit perfectly. the only problem i have is getting in the car. also it helps to get an aftermarket steering wheel and adjust the clutch which dale clark did a very nice write up for here.

what they said. some people lowered their seats with custom rails.
