add coolant buzzer?(not an overheating issue)
i just finished putting in a reman and started her up last night everything is running good started up on frist try. there is plenty of coolant in the system and stays at perfect temp but that damn add coolant buzzer is still on. i am not sure what it could be. the reman came with a new coolant level sensor, it pluged in right... any suggestions?

Make sure the connection is good, or maybe the sensor is bad. Mines pretty finicky, if it gets low at all itll go off. Pain in the ass.

checked the connection and even swaped the new level sensor with my old one and same deal.. car gets up to perfect temp and the add buzzer is still on? big pain in the ass. i cant hear anything else over that damn buzzer!!!

If you switched the sensor, than its gotta be a wiring issue. The wire has got to be grounding out somewhere. Find a wiring diagram, and do some continuity testing.

if it's a new sensor does it need to get broken in? Does the engine itself need more than a couple of grounds? I know that the stock grounds don't last all that long.

I think I'm having the same type issue with mine. Haven't got around to troubleshooting it though. Just curious, how much was the new sensor?

There is another connection by the power steering pump that's part of the circuit for the add coolant buzzer. Do a search - this one's been covered before, and many miss that other connection.
