accidental unplug phonejack thing

1 Attachment(s)
While installing gauges I accidentally unplugged the red wire and fuse that goes to the device next to the mini fusebox on the drivers side floor. The device has two phone line jacks labeled main and accessory, the main is the only one plugged in. I just need to know where to plug the hot back into. It is grounded on the nut on the door. but I somehow knocked the red wire loose.

That's something aftermarket. Maybe an alarm??

M14socom 05-19-07 12:30 PM

Don't rx7's come with alarms? If not I know mine has a basic one.

Valentine?

The radar detector......

Valentine radar detector

M14socom 05-19-07 01:23 PM

Are you telling me that the little black box is a radar detector? If so how can I get it to work...

dhahlen 05-19-07 03:16 PM

The valentine one is teh shit, friend had it in his Porsche, that thing would go off way before you'd spot the source of the radar. Tons of time to slow it down.

M14socom 05-19-07 03:36 PM

So is this little black box something to do with a valentine radar detector?

Railgun 05-19-07 04:01 PM

If you don't have the detector, then it doesn't matter whether it's plugged in or not.

It's the hardwire kit for the thing.

Just follow the phone cord, see where it goes.

I bet if he plugs that thing in he could get free cable TV.

It is probably stuck up in the head liner some where (not the detector, the wire). He had it hard wired in and it was most probably stuck it up there.
