AC Pulley Removal
How the hell does it come off, im frezzin my ass off outside, i got the nut off, is there a clip or somethin else holdin it on?

No... No Retainer Clip<<<<>>>>
<>the pulley is very fragile so don't handle it roughly:bash:or you'll be buying a new one ! 1. if you've managed to remove the nut, just use your hands and carefully rock:bootyshak:the pulley from side to side. 2. It should come right off. 3.The pulley center is metal and "Splinned" just like the input shaft of a tranmission. If you're having difficultly, spray the center with WD-40 and try again. Good luck |
Actually the outer part comes off after the nut is removed... Then there is a retainer clip... aka C-Clip on crack... that you have to remove before you can remove the second part of the pulley... Thanks anyway!

This is just too much coincidence. This morning I removed the A/C pulley from the compressor but mine is off the car. Yes there is a "C"retainer clip holding down the pulley, once removed, it should just slide out without any problems.
