ABS problem solved
If any of you guys run into weird ABS problems with the light staying on all the time, my little discovery today might help.
http://www.ilostmymind.com/upload/jonabs_connector.jpg That's cute isn't it? Somehow I got moisture in there I guess and it cause the corrosion which ate away that 12v power pin in the connector for part of the ABS. After finding this I pulled both offending pins out of their respective connectors and routed them external to it, and viola! ABS works like a champ again. Just FYI for all you rotorheads out there, I guess these cars are getting old :) Oh well, one electrical gremlim down, now on to my hot start and weak ignition ones. |
is their anyway of putting abs on say a switch if so how???
not so much abs but more traction control... |
