ABS Problem

Hey just got my motor back *w00t* from a fresh rebuild those dam coolant seals.
Anyways, I dont think it was working when it went in, I checked the fuse, and dont know what else to check, any ideas? The light does not come on when I put the ignition on on. Heard that means something.
Thanks!

Check your sensors for a start

Anyone care to add some input?

Scuderia Scirianis site has details on the ABS codes
Maybe this can help you
But in any case it is hell to debug
Check you didn't cut any wires while "playing" with the motor

BTW Its not throwing any codes at all, but I heard that the ABS light should turn on with the ignition key in the on position. Then turn off once the car is started.

Im bumping this up since I just got sometime to work on the car. I did some searches and heard about a fuse under the dash that is connected to the rear wiper or something, which fuse is it so I can check it (since from what I understand it powers the ABS computer).
Thanks

Plus can anyone please post a pic of what the abs sensor looks like so I can check that too.

It should be clearly labeled in the fuse block - it's for the rear wiper, that same circuit runs the ABS computer. If all else fails, pull each fuse and see if it's blown.

Well my lovely FD doesnt have the cover that tells me which fuse is which ( im talking about the fuse box near the clutch) if this is the correct one. Thats why I'd like to be sure, I'll probably remove them if I HAVE to but I dont prefer to.

my 94 has an abslight on which is just the sensor so thats probably what it is it shoulndt hurt anything dont sweat it

if the light is not coming on then the bulb is out or the abs module is not getting any power (blown fuse or worse). the same is true of the CEL on a stock car
