Abs light and sound

So the 7 is having another issue....

the abs light just came on... and I can hear a whirring sound from the abs area... not sure if it’s a plug or sensor or fluid related issue...

it sounds like it’s coming from the intake area as well..

when I depress the brake pedal I can hear the idle effected a bit.. maybe it’s air in the system issue? I bled the brakes not too long ago..

and.. of course it’s having difficult hot start issues... again... but in my other post I believe it’s coolant seal issue...

I took off the abs relay and the sound stopped from the abs. But the abs light is still on.

Try and read the error codes from the abs ecu:

its post 15 if the link doesn't take you straight to it (earlier posts are all about engine ecu)

I had my ABS relay freak out and make noises once - pulled it, put it back in, it stopped, never did it again.

Had this happen also with the relay, but also had the abs freak out while the car was on a downward slope. Turned out to be some air trapped in the pump.

I bled it like usual. Seemed like the abs kicking on was able to push the bubble down the line to the caliper, after that ive finally been able to feel what the brakes should feel like.
