ABS light coming on, I don't really quite understand why please help

Hey guys, I need some help with something. Just the other day my friends and I just changed my stock suspension for some aftermarket coilovers ( ZEAL Function X's ) and installed them two days ago. We also changed my stock rims for my 19'' wheels and started her up for a test drive.

Immediatly I noticed that my ABS light came on and doesn't go away. I can't figure out why....

Also I think I might have inadvertantly reset my Power FC to the base map from my rich tune which I got from Chuck of Rotary Extreme before they closed down.... and I'm afraid to drive it under boost now...

I think my power FC got reset inadvertanly when we disconnected the negative terminal on my battery and stepped on the brake.... Has anyone heard of this before? I also need to set my radiator fan switch on my commander back to 86 C does anyone here know how I can do this? or am I just totally lost??? It won't come on at this temp. for some reason and comes on around 90 something... I'm freakin' out... :Wconfused

Any information/feedback will be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance.

Disconnecting the battery terminal and depressing the brake is how you reset most ecus. I'm running a street port on poor mans twins on the base map. have been for 6 months now.

Your fans coming on at 90c isn't a big deal. "completely warmed up" is closer to 100c. The only way to change the fans coming on are to change to the fc thermoswitch or borrow someones PFC Dataloggit. If you want to manually turn on the fans press the A/C button.

the abs light illuminates for a number of reasons. 1st- check your brake fluid.

you may have knocked off a wheel sensor

I also have this same problem since I put in my new engine but I never got around to fixing it. The car still brakes perfectly but having that ABS light on all the is abit of worry.

Check your fuses...

I guess you didn't disconnect the ABS sensor from the steering knuckle. You probably stretched and broke the ABS wire. You need a new sensor. They are ~$250 from Malloy Mazda. =Most of the used ones get f*cked upon removal so be careful buying used. Only purchase from a good known forum member who is willing to test the part b4 selling it to you.

Yep. That is what happens when the ABS sensor is broken. The FSM has the voltage readings so that you can test the ABS sensor. Its very easy to do.
