About how much labor to put in new twin turbos?

So my turbo is bad and I've just picked up another stock twin turbo to replace it with. How much am I looking at to get the new one installed?

About 800.

its relatively free to do it yourself though :D

Yeah, apart from breaking loose the stud nuts, it is not rocket science. You should be able to do it mostly yourself.
The part that would give me pause would be adjustment of the actuator rods (length adjustments)...I've not had to do that particular bit, so fear of the unknown. But I'm sure you can drive the car to a delaer/shop if needed.

edit: Now that I actually think about, those rods and actuators are probably already mounted and set properly on your new turbos.

Yeah, the rods should be fine on the new turbos. Pulling the stock twins is a pretty big job - lots of little things that can go wrong. If you're a pretty green mechanic, I'd have second thoughts about doing it yourself.

I'm not sure what the book rate would be for the job. Depends on if it's a rotary specialist, a general mechanic, etc. Hell, I never really pay attention to shop rates - I do it all myself :).

It's suprising easy. The only issue I can see is the manifold studs. They tend to break off..so you'll have to replace them upon removal.

If you do it yourself (and it's your first time), assuming the studs come off without any problems (PB Blaster!),..it'll take about 3-5 hours to pull them off. Another 3 hours to do the install.

I took mine off at least 7 times when I did the rebuild from hell. It only took me under 1.5 hours to pull them off the last time :)
