? about factory radiator

Ive heard the factory FD radiators have plastic end tanks on them, is this true? Im not sure if my radiator is stock or aftermarket, because the only thing plastic on mine, is the drain plug, everything else is aluminum.

Yes, the OEM radiator has plastic end tanks and have a tendency to crack over time due to heat and the stress under the hood. But if what you say is true it sounds like an aftermarket application.

Sounds like you have an OEM style replacement unit for sure. Are you sure it is aluminum? I have a copper/brass replacement unit I got from RADIATOR WORLD that looks EXACTLY like stock, though slightly (about 20%) bigger, it is all copper and brass construction.

Regardless...if you don't have the plastic end tanks then, yes...it is NOT stock.
