99 plateless bumper

Anyone have any pointer on putting a 99 plateless pol y front bumper. Already enlarge rebar for 99 signal. But lining it up was a pain. I tried mounting the side fender and bumper but there was a gap even after tightening it up.

You probably lucked out on the price but you'll end up paying some money trying to get it to fit right.
Best to take it to a body shop and they're going to use some filler.

I am going through the same pain, I noticed that its easier to mount the fender bolts first and then play with it to get it to line up in the center. Mine just ended up sitting too low so now i will be adding shims to raise it a bit and have it sit flush with the hood hopefully.

heh I have the same issue even on my OEM one, I think because it was a used one that was in a japanese junkyard for many years

Man, I had a easier time retrofitting the hid projector than putting this spawn of satan bumper. Lol

Where did you bu the bumper? I've been considering buying a plateless 99 bumper (apparently they all originate from the same mold) but all these fitment horror stories are seriously making me consider spending a lot more on an OEM bumper and having the plate shaved.

FB... i think i need to put 5 months in lining up the bumper. It should be good.
