brent_strong 02-27-07 12:11 PM

Ouch, that looks like a hard hit.

rx7rcer09 02-27-07 12:14 PM

yea but its in the right place where it dosent affect how the car drive stright i hope but it should be an easy fix the frame guy said hope so i cant wait for that T51R to spool haha

rx7rcer09 02-27-07 09:12 PM

i need to know i was going to get a cluster from the mazda dealer and they said there is 2 types one for stiff suspension and one for normal what does it have to do with anything

dgeesaman 02-27-07 09:15 PM

Yours has the rear wiper. That would make it a 'normal suspension'. 'stiff suspension' would be an R2.

Dave

rx7rcer09 02-27-07 09:19 PM

thanks a lot but just my luck their out of those clusters

If you are going to use a dealer, I would advise you contact Ray at Malloy Mazda 888-533-3400. Ray is a big supporter of the rotary community and offers great prices, low priced shipping, and your stuff will arrive very quickly.

rx7rcer09 03-01-07 07:49 AM

up its at the shop right now gonna go later and take pics of it on the lift

rx7rcer09 03-01-07 08:07 AM

hey forgot to mention that it does have a clean title i was so suprised to see that also i got it for 400 cant beat that for a fd haha :bigok: :asian:

SiKoPaThX 03-01-07 09:55 AM

Clean title? You gotta be shitting me. You definitely cannot trust Carfax these days.

That looks to be a HELL of a project. That's some serious frame damage, and half the interior looks molded out.

I would make real good friends with Fritz Flynn on this forum, as well as Ray Crowe from Malloy Mazda.

rx7rcer09 03-01-07 12:06 PM

i know i couldent believe it had a clean title but i saw it and its not as bad as the picture makes it look

SiKoPaThX 03-01-07 01:12 PM

It has a clean title because it avoided being appraised and evaluated. That's definitely a totaled car that would get a salvage title if an adjuster looked at it.

rx7rcer09 03-04-07 05:13 PM

well that hasent happend so its pretty sweet well ill post more pics later in the week

preludesh2000 03-04-07 08:21 PM

good luck...you got your hands full

its good to see another one thats not goin to the junk yard :)

good luck

themcneal 03-05-07 12:47 AM

dgeesaman,

I have a VR (93 base) with no wiper and it's not a stiff suspension (R1) so I don't know that this is a definitive single indicator of R1 or non-R1 (or R2 if isn't not a 1993 car).

Mike

RX7WEEE 03-05-07 12:53 AM

It looks like a 93, not a 94. It doesn't have a pass side airbag, all 94's and 95's have a pass side airbag.

SiKoPaThX 03-05-07 01:48 AM

I just looked again. It's definitely a 93. I can tell by the missing airbag as rx7weee pointed out, as well as the spacing of the thermostat of the A/C, as well as the tan door panels.
