94 Auto starts, runs, stall on acceleration

First off this 94 Auto was involved in one of the several hurricanes that struck Florida last year. It had been sitting with a blown engine or other problems when the storms came, shattered the glass top and numerous little digs and dents that followed. I'm sure water and rain intruded for a couple days.

The car was taken to a shop where it sat for the better part of 8 months before the motor was torn down and had the gasket set installed. The motor and all parts have been reassembled and the car starts, but not with the ignition.

Problem One. The starter must be jumped at the battery. Then it starts and idles fine, goes into gear and will pull itself as an automatic should until,

Problem Two. On acceleration the car sputters and dies.

As for problem one possible faulty nuetral start switch.

And for problem two, the fuel filter was replaced and found to be dirty.

Thanks in advance.

Problem 1) check ignition switch and the small wire connection at the starter.
Problem 2) check both fuel pump relays and the Throttle position sensor...

Weirdly, I had a similar issue with my auto. I hit a kangaroo at 100kmh, and I had to remove the front bumper, radiator, airbox, basically everything up to the engine pulleys depth inwards from the bumper and replace a lot of broken stuff..

First time I fired it up, it refused to idle well. It sounded more like a bridgeport 'brap-brap' idle than a stock car.
Waited til it warmed up, then put it in Drive and sat there, no throttle, foot on brake, and the idle under load in Drive became progressively smoother until it returned to normal. Has been factory-fine ever since. Odd.

Similar here after fresh rebuild....run fine for 650 KM

Drived slow with no boost for break in (except 3-4 boost around 4500-5000 rpm to try the turbos)

yesterday car suddently stall when i stopped at my house and now it seems a bridgeported engine and stall after 10 second of rough idling or if i push the gas....

If i press gas really really SLOW and i go over 1000 rpm car is fine and i can drive with no power issue all the time I want.....(have to press the gas at the stop to stay over 1000 rpm)
