5zigen Econ?
Has anyone used the 5zigen Econ? I'm stationed in Japan and have seen these and do have easy access to ordering them. I know the twin power is the forum fav but was wondering if anyone had used this and how they liked it.
Current mods Stock rebuilt engine with goopy 2mm apex Bnr stage 3 turbo Feed downpipe No name catless midpipe Kakitmoto exhaust Airinx intake Large Greddy smic with elbow Ffe secondary fuel kit with 2000cc injectors Supra fuel pump Ngk 9 spark plugs with magnecor wires Monitoring afr with ngk ntk wideband and going to be controlling boost with power fc controller Getting my tune within the next couple months once I finish break in and want to have all the parts ready. Looking into water injection as well before tune but am shooting for 380 whp and want to make sure I am golden for the tune and not find out while tuning that I have ignition break up. |
By the lack of responses that's a no :).
It does look like it's similar to the Twinpower and has a plug-in harness for the FD (part number PEC-036). But, at the end of the day, I would get the Twinpower and harness. It's a proven setup and is VERY reliable. Not sure how reliable 5zigen's electronics would be - they're mainly known for making cheap rims. HKS has been making electronics for 30+ years. This is one of those things that you don't want to go out on you - it needs to be dead reliable. Dale |
